Introduction
Chronova (package com.mge.facultytimetable) is a mobile app for faculty members of Maharishi Global Education ("we", "us", "our"). Faculty use it to view their teaching timetable and mark student attendance.
This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and how it is protected. By using Chronova, you agree to the practices described here. The app is meant only for faculty who have been given login credentials by the institution.
Information We Collect
The app collects only what it needs to sign you in, show your timetable and record attendance. It does not collect location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or device identifiers.

The app does not use advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools.
How We Use the Information
We use this information only to run the app's academic functions:
- Verify your identity and keep you signed in
- Show your daily and weekly teaching timetable
- List the students in each class so you can mark attendance
- Save attendance records to the institution's student management system
- Let you change your password
We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
Chronova does not include any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising or tracking. All data is exchanged only with our own server at maharishiglobal.in.
We may disclose information only when required by law, or to the institution's authorised staff who manage academic records.
App Permissions

The app may open your phone's Display settings so you can turn on auto-rotate. It does not read or change any settings itself.
Data Storage, Retention and Security
- On your device: The app stores your sign-in status, faculty ID, faculty code and school ID so you stay logged in. This data is deleted when you log out or uninstall the app.
- On our server: Your profile, timetable and attendance records are kept for as long as you are an active faculty member, and afterwards for as long as the institution must keep academic records.
- In transit: All communication between the app and our server uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access.
Children's Privacy
Chronova is used only by faculty members and is not directed at children. Student details shown in the app come from the institution's records and are visible only to signed-in faculty for attendance.
Your Rights and Data Deletion
You can:
- View your profile and timetable in the app
- Change your password from within the app
- Delete data stored on your device by logging out or uninstalling the app
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your account data by emailing the contact address below
We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Some attendance records may need to be kept to meet the institution's legal or academic record-keeping duties.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
